Challenge

Dental clinics in India and across emerging markets are stuck with a patchwork of tools that don’t talk to each other: spreadsheets for appointments, paper files for patient records, separate accounting software for billing, WhatsApp groups for staff coordination, and manual phone calls for follow-ups and reminders. This fragmented workflow drains administrative time, causes appointment no-shows, leads to billing errors, and prevents clinic owners from getting any meaningful data on how their practice is performing.

Elevate Technologies came to Zartek with a clear product vision: build a single, modern, AI-enabled SaaS platform that consolidates everything a dental clinic needs into one product. The product needed to be deeply specialised for dentistry tooth-level treatment charting, dental treatment plan templates, dental lab order workflows not a generic medical CRM retrofitted for dental use. It also needed to be HIPAA-compliant for patient data security, scalable for multi-clinic chains, and easy enough for non-technical clinic staff to adopt without lengthy training.

The challenge for Zartek was end-to-end: we had to build the entire product from scratch — design, architecture, web application, mobile apps for Android and iOS, backend infrastructure, AI/WhatsApp bot integration, payment systems, analytics dashboards, and document generation. Beyond the build, we had to think like a SaaS product team: multi-tenant architecture so each clinic’s data is isolated, role-based access for clinic owners, doctors, receptionists, and lab partners, and an admin layer that could onboard new clinics rapidly as the product scaled.
